Dr. Valerie Renegar
Founder & Communication Strategist
Dr. Valerie Renegar holds the Herman Brown Chair and is Professor of Communication Studies at Southwestern University. She brings over a decade of experience in student development, leadership training, and organizational advancement. With a PhD in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas and an MA in Speech Communication from Kansas State University, Valerie combines academic excellence with practical expertise in human-centered communication.
Valerie has built a network of 500+ professional connections and is recognized for her innovative approaches to educational development. At Verrons Labs, she leads our communication and content strategy, ensuring our products and consulting services resonate with teams seeking clarity, accessibility, and impact.

Jeremy West
Founder & Security Lead
Jeremy West is Senior Cybersecurity Program Lead at the Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security (UTSA) and brings extensive expertise in enterprise security and risk management. He holds the CISSP, CISM, and CEH certifications and earned his MS in Cybersecurity and Information Assurance from Western Governors University.
Jeremy has held key roles including Director of ISAO Standards and Director of Cybersecurity Professional Services at Avatier. He is an active member of ISACA and the International Information System Security Certification Consortium (ISC²), with over 370 professional connections. Jeremy's published work on cybersecurity process improvement for municipalities is recognized across the industry. At Verrons Labs, he leads our security and infrastructure strategy.
